Chandan Kumar Singh is an Indian lawn bowler and an educator. Till 2022, he represented India two times in Asian Games and three times in the Commonwealth Games.
He works as a Physical Education Teacher in a Middle School in Samdana Hathiya.
In 2016, Chandan Kumar Singh clinched a gold medal in the Asian Lawn Bowls Championships in fours. In 2017, he won another gold in the triples at the Asian Lawn Bowls Championships.
According to some media sources, his grandfather, Late Arjun Prasad Singh, was an Indian Army officer who was a member of the Dhavadal. On 15 February 1932, his grandfather was invited to hoist the tricolour at Tarapur police station by the local government. Chandan Kumar Singh’s father mentioned in a media conversation that Kabaddi and Cricket were Chandan’s favourite games during his college days.

Chandan Kumar Singh participated in the 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth games. In 2022, he participated in two events; the men’s triples and the men’s fours at the Commonwealth Games organised in Birmingham. In the fours event, Chandan Kumar Singh and his teammates Sunil Bahadur , Navneet Singh , and Dinesh Kumar won a silver medal in the final match of the games.

In a media conversation, his family members disclosed that Chandan Kumar used to participate in sports since childhood. Chandan Kumar Singh was a member of the Kabbadi team during his school and college days. Gradually, he inclined toward lawn bowls, and in 2008, he participated in the national championships held in Ranchi for the Jharkhand team and bagged a bronze medal.
