Catalina Gorostidi grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Since she was 17, Catalina has struggled with anorexia, an eating disorder that causes extreme fear of weight gain and restrictive eating. At one point, she also experienced bigorexia, a disorder that causes an obsession with muscle gain and body image.
In 2016, when she was an R1 (a first-year paediatric resident receiving specialised training), Catalina became fascinated with the idea of being a staff physician in paediatric inpatient care.
After graduating from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, she began practising as a paediatrician.

She moved from Buenos Aires to Santa Fe in 2021.
On 29 March 2021, Catalina began working as a paediatrician at Hospital de Niños Dr Orlando Alassia (Children’s Hospital Dr. Orlando Alassia) in Santa Fe. On the same day, she joined Hospital Mira y López as a paediatrician in Santa Fe.
On 18 May 2021, she began working as a paediatrician at Hospital Materno Infantil San Roque in Paraná.
On 1 November 2022, she officially became a staff physician at Hospital de Niños Dr Orlando Alassia.

In 2023, Catalina appeared as a contestant in the reality show ‘Gran Hermano Argentine 11,’ which aired on Telefe.
