Captain Kapil Kundu was one of the young cadets of Indian army who joined after completing the training from the National Defence Academy (NDA).
He was an IIT aspirant and took coaching from FIITJEE Janakpuri, New Delhi.
In 2012, he had lost his father on his birthday who died of heart attack.
On 1 February 2018, he along with three other soldiers Riflemen Ramavatar, Subham Singh, and Havilder Roshan Lal were martyred after when Pakistan fired in Rajouri district of Jammu & Kashmir suddenly.
He loved an adventurous life and wrote his experience in the form of poems.
