Camilla Luddington was interested in acting from a very young age and by 11, she was acting in theatre productions.
After completing her education, she started her career with small roles in Hollywood films.
She played the role of Catherine (Kate) Middleton (now the Princess of Wales) in the television film William & Kate: The Movie (2011).
She met her husband Mathew Alan during the early years of her career while they worked in a restaurant. They dated for over ten years before their marriage in 2019.
In 2012, she played Dr. Joesphine (Jo) Wilson, a recurring role in the television series Grey’s Anatomy (Season 9). Her character has played a major role in the seasons since then, and this is one of the major roles in her acting career.

She was the voice actor for Lara Croft in the action-adventure video game Tomb Raider (2013).
