During his teenage years, Bineesh Bastin assisted his older siblings in odd jobs like painting buildings, roofing, and other construction work.
From a young age, he aspired to be in the film industry and started working as a junior artist in the Malayalam film industry in 2005.

Some of the Malayalam films at the start of his career as a junior artist were Annan Thambi (2008), Passenger (2009), Thappana (2012), and Sound Thoma (2013).
He got his first break in the Tamil film, Theri (2016), in a negative role opposite actor Vijay .

The flood calamity in 2018 destroyed Bineesh Bastin’s ancestral home in Kochi. In an interview, he mentioned that many people offered to help him, which he declined. He shifted to his new home in 2020, which he built without taking any bank loans.

In 2019, Bineesh Bastin and director Anil Radhakrishna Menon were invited to the college day function of Government Medical College in Palakkad, Kerala. According to him, the college association informed him about Anil’s disinterest in sharing the stage with a lesser-known artist. He showed his protest on the stage at the event and later, Anil apologised for the misunderstanding caused.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, he rediscovered his passion for cooking and started a YouTube channel. As of October 2024, he has over 4.13 lakh subscribers.
He is popular as one of the contestants in the fun television show Star Magic aired on Flowers Channel.

Some of his notable roles were as Tipper Tony in Twenty One Grams (2022), Sumo Ravi in Son of Alibaba Nalpathonnaman (2022), and as a priest in Kallanmaarude Veedu (2024).
