Billy is the second tallest Australian cricketer, ahead of him is former cricketer âPhil Alleyâ whose height is 6â10â.
Before cricket, he used to play âAustralian rules footballâ (Rugby) like his father who played for the âFootscray Football Clubâ in the âVictorian Football Leagueâ (VFL).
He played his first ODI for âAustraliaâ in 2011 and in one of the matches against âSri Lankaâ, he picked 4 wickets by giving just 37 runs.
In 2012 & 2014, he was named in the âAustralian Under-19 cricket teamâ to play in âUnder-19 World Cupsâ but unfortunately, both times ahead of matches, he missed the opportunity due to facing foot injury.
During 2014-2015 season, he was offered a contract to play for âQueenslandâ cricket team but due to stress fractures in his back, he again didnât play the whole season.
He then played his first match in 2015 for âQueenslandâ against âTasmaniaâ at Sydney.

In the same year, âRoyal Challengers Bangaloreâ (RCB) bought him for Rs. 30 lakh for the â2017 Indian Premier Leagueâ (IPL) auction.
