Bikramjeet Kanwarpal belonged to a family of army officers who served in the Indian Army. His father was a lieutenant colonel in the Indian Army and was honored with Kirti Chakra in 1963, the second in order of precedence of peacetime gallantry awards in India.
Bikramjeet was inspired by his father to serve the nation, and in 1989, he was selected for the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. There, he was trained for two years before being posted on ground zero.

Bikramjeet was also a professional shooter. He was a silver medalist at the National Shooting Tournament in 1989.

In 2002, Bikramjeet, after serving the nation for almost 12 years, was retired as the Major.
Bikramjeet Kanwarpal was fond of acting and drama since childhood. During his school days, he actively participated in various school plays and drama competitions.

He fulfilled his childhood dream of getting into Bollywood with his debut as an actor in the film Paap in 2003 alongside the famous Bollywood actor John Abraham .
He was a part of many hit Bollywood movies such as Hate Story 2, 2 States, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, and many more in which he appeared alongside popular celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif .
Bikramjeet Kanwarpal also made a remarkable stint on the small screen by working for many television shows and Web series. He made a remark with his acting in the TV series 24, produced by the actor Anil Kapoor . Crime Patrol, Dastak, Ye hai Chahte, Diya Or Bati Hum are also some of the shows he had worked in.
He also worked in a few Tamil films in a supporting role.
Bikramjeet did over 100 TV Commercials, 30 Films, and 18 TV Serials.
Bikramjeet Kanwarpa was also a corporate professional. He was appointed as the Director Operations at Asia Consulting Group (P) Ltd and at Global InfraSys (P) Ltd. in January 2002. He was also working as a Director of Operations at GIS-ACG since July 2012.
