Bigg Boss, being the mother of all the reality shows has rocked the floors of Indian television in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, and now also in Marathi. The first season of Bigg Boss Marathi was launched on 15 April by Bollywood’s popular filmmaker and the show’s host- Mahesh Manjrekar . The show is aired on Colors Marathi every Monday to Saturday at 9:30 pm and Sunday’s episode is telecast at 9 pm.

Every weekday, the show highlights the main happenings of the previous day occurred in the Bigg Boss House. The weekend episodes focus on the interview of the evicted contestants by the host.

At the inaugural episode of the Bigg Boss Marathi- Season 1, Mahesh made a mega entry to the show and introduced the contestants to the audience and also gave the glimpse of the Bigg Boss house to the viewers. The house has been designed with the Marathi culture for the show.

Here are some of the basic rules that the contestants/housemates/inmates have to follow:

  • The contestants are allowed to only talk in Marathi, as no other language is permitted inside the Bigg Boss Marathi House.

  • Without permission, the contestants are not allowed to leave the house premises.

  • They are not allowed to share the nomination process with anyone.

  • Day-Time sleeping is not permitted in the house.

Each week, two contestants are nominated by their fellow housemates and the one who receives the maximum nominations faces a public vote. Then, the viewers voting process takes place, which saves their dearest contestant from eviction. The contestant with the least number of votes gets eviction from the Bigg Boss House. The housemate who survives till the end will get the Bigg Boss Marathi title.

Step 1: Open www.voot.com in your web browser.

Step 2: Register your email account by providing the required credentials or Simply sign up with your Google or Facebook account.

Step 3: Login with your registered account on the website.

Step 4: After the login, type “Bigg Boss Marathi Vote” in the search bar present on the top right corner.

Step 5: Choose the contestant you want to vote for from the list of nominated contestants that appears with the images on the screen. Hit the ‘Submit’ button to save your favourite contestant from eviction.

Online Voting through Voot App

Step 1: Download the Voot App from your respective App Store.

Step 2: Register your email account by providing the required credentials or Simply sign up with your Google or Facebook account.

Step 3: Login with your registered account on the app.

Step 4: After the login, type “Bigg Boss Marathi Vote” on the search bar.

Step 5: Choose the contestant you want to vote for from the list of nominated contestants that appears with the images on the screen. Hit the ‘Submit’ button to save your favourite contestant from eviction.

Offline Voting Through A Missed Call

This is the simplest method of voting, which has been used previously in many reality shows. All you have to do is give a missed call on the unique voting number, which is given to each contestant, and cast your vote. The given voting number is a toll-free number, which means it is a total free of cost step.

Offline Voting Through An SMS

Just go to your message box, type the contestant code to whom you wish to save from eviction and send it to the Bigg Boss Marathi Vote SMS number.

Bigg Boss Marathi Voting Rules & Regulations:

Here are some of the rules to be kept in mind while voting to make your vote count:

  • From the person’s registered email address, a maximum of 1 vote is counted.

  • Any vote cast after the maximum limit is considered void and null.

  • All the votes which are received after the mentioned time slot are also considered null.

  • A vote is counted after it reaches the server of the related internet or telecom operator.

  • The channel has all the rights to cancel the votes coming from an incomplete or inappropriate user ID or profile.
