Bhupinder Babbal is an Indian musician and singer. He is well-known for his renditions of popular folk songs from Punjab. He rose to fame by lending voice to the soundtrack of the Bollywood film Animal (2023).
At Khalsa Higher Secondary School in Kurali, Bhupinder Babbal joined NCC and earned a grade A certificate and aspired to become a police officer.
He discovered his love for Punjabi folk music when he participated in numerous cultural programs at college and university levels. He also participated in many inter-college and inter-university competitions.
After graduating from college, he started earning money through performing his music and renditions of old Punjabi folk songs at marriages and wrestling matches in his village.
According to Bhupinder, the turning point of his life, when he decided to pursue music as a career instead of the army, was when he got a chance to fly to England and perform at a concert there. check sources
He has provided vocals for numerous songs, such as Arjan Valley, Mirza, Challa, and Saint Soldier. Later, Bhupinder Babbal started teaching music at S. D. College, Sector 32, Chandigarh. He has appeared as a judge in numerous inter-college cultural programs.
Over the years, he has judged many singing competitions and cultural programs including Youth Punjab Basant Mela in Canada, and Lohri Mela in Chandigarh.
In January 2022, he performed along with Benipal Sisters, at a concert in Dabwali.

In 2021, Charanjit Singh Channi , the 16th chief minister of Punjab, appointed him as a member of the Punjab Kala Bhawan in Chandigarh.
In 2023, he became famous after the pre-teaser of the Bollywood film Animal (2023) went viral for its music track, which was sung by Bhupinder Babbal. He also lent his voice to the song ”Arjan Vailly” in the film.
In an interview, Bhupinder once talked about singing the song ‘Arjan Vailly’ for the film ‘Animal’ (2023) and mentioned that the film’s team contacted him after listening to one of his songs on YouTube. He further spoke about the significant opportunities that came his way with the film ‘Animal,’ noting that after the song’s teaser release, directors from the Punjabi music and film industry reached out to him to express their interest in working with him.
