Atul Gogavale is a renowned Indian singer, music director, and composer.
He has lived in different villages of Maharashtra in his childhood because of the transfers in his father’s job.
While he was in school, he developed an interest in music along with his younger brother, Ajay. When Atul was in 4th standard, and his brother, Ajay was in 2nd standard, they composed music for school poems.
Atul and Ajay Gogavale participated in various extra-curriculum activities while they were studying.
Atul and Ajay’s family was not financially good, so their parents wanted them to focus on studies; as they could not afford expensive musical instruments for them.
Atul and Ajay used to perform with local bands in temples and local events. They did not have any professional training in music; it’s only their hard work which made them successful.

In an interview, Ajay and Atul shared that they used to befriend people who owned various musical instruments; so they can learn how to play such instruments.
Once Atul’s father gifted him and Ajay a musical keyboard and said,

You have not been given any toys during childhood, now this is your toy.”

After completing graduation, Ajay and Atul moved to Mumbai from Pune to make their career in music. They got an offer to work on an international non-film music album, “Vishwavinayaka.”
Soon, they started getting many commercial jingles and advertisements as music composers.
