At the time of her birth, her parents wanted to name her after her grandmother’s name ‘Mary.’ However, later, her father dropped the idea.
She once shared the meaning of her name i.e. ‘A’ means ‘opposite of’ in Sanskrit and ‘sin’ is taken from English.
At the age of 3, she started her training in Bharatanatyam. She is also trained in Kathakali and folk dance.
