She again made headlines when she danced as a side dance performer with Samantha Prabhu in the song Oo Antava sung by Indravathi Chauhan. She was given the nickname Jr. Samantha by fans because of the similarity between Samantha and Ashu’s appearance.

Neither was I in the space to give anyone that scope to get close nor take any chances. But now, I’ve been working here for quite some time and I will know what is what. I will try to be the chatterbox that I am (laughs). Basically, try not to get into that emotional zone and be at my entertaining best.. if at all I’d go to Bigg Boss (laughs).”
