Asha Sharma was a veteran Indian actress, who primarily played the role of a mother or a grandmother in most of her films and TV series.
In 1982, she appeared as Mrs Nivaran Sharma in the Hindi drama romance film âDo Dishayen,â which featured Dharmendra and Hema Malini in the lead roles.
She also appeared in several Hindi films throughout her career such as âInsaaf Kaun Karegaâ (1984), âWohi Bhayanak Raatâ (1989), âDil Apna Aur Preet Paraeeâ (1993), âPyaar To Hona Hi Thaâ (1998), âKisna: The Warrior Poetâ (2005), âNirahua Hindustaniâ (2014), and âAdipurushâ (2023).
She played the role of Girdhari Sethâs wife in DD Nationalâs well-known TV series âNukkadâ released in 1986.
