| Controversy | Accused of sexual harassment Reportedly, on 21 August 2016, a woman accused Aryavardhan of sexually assaulting her at his residence in Rajarajeshwarinagar, Bengaluru. He was arrested on 10 December 2016 by the Rajarajeshwarinagar police. An FIR was lodged against him on the basis of complaint filed by the victim. The woman came to Bengaluru to learn numerology from Aryavardhan. She paid an amount of Rs 1.5 lakh on the condition that she would be refunded the entire amount if the course would not be fruitful. Later, she demanded full refund as she found the course of no use to her, but Aryavardhan refused to refund. On 21 August, the woman and her husband went to Aryavardhan’s flat in Rajarajeshwari Nagar to get a refund, where she was sexually molested by him.
