It went viral on the internet, after which Vishal clarified statements by his dear friend Arya to calm it down. ⢠He has been alleged of dispraising the Tamil film industry in an international platform at an event arranged by a Malayalam network in Dubai. But, he clarified it by saying that Kollywood is the industry in which he has worked for initial part of his career and it is also the industry in which he has invested his own money. Arya initially wanted to become a pilot in Indian Airforce, but his father got scared and told him to complete his engineering first before doing anything else.
During his college days, his friend and actor Srikanth started acting and insisted him to try his luck in acting.
Things changed when director/cinematographer Jeeva called him for the audition for his Ullam Ketkumaein in 2003.
Before being an actor, he worked as a software engineer.
It was Jeeva, who gave him the stage name âAryaâ.
He is popularly known as âKollywoodâs playboy.â
Ajith Kumar was the first choice to play the role of an Aghori, Rudran in Naan Kadavul (2009), but later the role was offered to Arya.Â
