When Arushi was in college, the Bollywood director, Imtiaz Ali visited her college for the reconnaissance of his film, Tamasha. Arushi gave the auditions and got selected to play the role of âSanjuktaâ in the film.
In 2020, Arushi featured in the Bollywood film âLove Aaj Kalâ in which she played the role of âLeena.â

When asked if she had been a part of the theatre, Arushi said,
I am from Himachal Pradesh, which doesnât have an active theatre scene.â
After appearing in the Bollywood film âTamasha,â Arushi started sending her performance videos to various casting directors.
It was the casting director, Mukesh Chhabra, who found her and called her to give an audition in Delhi. Arushi bagged the second lead in the film within 15 days of her audition.
When asked in and interview about working with Kartik Aryan , Arushi said,
Even he is an engineer, it was like meeting an old buddy. He is an actor who is always trying to improve his craft and a good co-star who elevated my performance, too. He can stay focused even in chaos, I canât.â
During a media interaction, When asked about Arushi, Imtiaz Ali said,
I have known Arushi for years. As for her casting in the film, it was famed casting director Mukesh Chhabra who made it happen and it looks like we have him to thank for bringing this charming lady in the film.â
