  • Arshad started playing cricket at the age of 8 and was selected for his district cricket team at 11.

  • Arshad during his early days used to wake early in the morning to travel 300km from Seoni to Jabalpur to play cricket matches.

  • At the age of 14, Arshad was selected for the Madhya Pradesh Under-16 cricket team.

  • Arshad idolized Zaheer Khan from a young age and even tried to copy his bowling action.

  • Arshad’s father bought him his first cricket kit for Rs. 16,000. At that time the salary of his father was Rs. 15,000. He also supported Arshad in playing cricket by taking him to various cricket tournaments and practising with him on the field.
