In 2017, Archana was kidnapped by goons who claimed to be CBI officers. They offered her a role in a commercial, which she accepted, and went to meet them to make an agreement. As soon as she sat in their car, the goons snatched her phone and car keys. They even demanded Rs. 50,000 from her. In an interview, Archana talked about this incident and said,
