Controversies	• On 1 July 2012, a 70-year-old woman was killed by a Land Cruiser owned by Arbaaz Khan. Although at the time of the accident he was not there in the car, the family of the old women demanded damages from Arbaaz. However, the Khan family denied paying the compensation; as the family members of the old woman had disowned the old women. • On 1 June 2018, he was summoned by Thane Police for questioning regarding his involvement in IPL betting scam. He is the second son of famous screenwriter Salim Khan. His mother, Sushila Charak, later adopted the name Salma Khan.
He shares a great bond with his brother Salman Khan.
He incepted his acting career with his splendid performance in the film Daraar in 1996, which was a villainous role of a psychotic wife-beater.
Arbaaz was supposed to debut in 1992 in the film- Footpath, which got shelved. Moreover, he also rejected the film Khiladi that was offered to him at the time of shoot of Footpath.
