Aparna began her career in news reporting in January 2013 when she became a news anchor for the Hindi News Channel Total TV in Noida. She worked there for four years.
In October 2017, she joined Zee Media Corporation Limited as a News Anchor.
In 2018, she started her YouTube channel where she began posting short videos on various themes including daily vlogs, workout routines, current news, and movie reviews.
In April 2019, Aparna began working as a producer and anchor for the news channel News Nation. She worked there for 10 months until January 2020 and later became a News Anchor at the ABP News.
