Anwar ul Haq Kakar is a Pakistani politician and scholar who gained significant attention when he assumed the role of the 8th Caretaker Prime Minister of Pakistan in August 2023.
Upon the passing of his father during his time at Cadet College, Kohat, he discontinued his studies there and returned to Quetta.
He later relocated to London for a law degree but came back to Pakistan in 2005. Following his return, he engaged in teaching to establish financial stability before eventually venturing into a political career.

During his tenure as the Senator of Balochistan from March 2018 to August 2023, he held the position of Chairperson for the Committee of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
