Some Lesser Known Facts About Ansiba Hassan
Ansiba Hassan never wanted to become an actress. In an interview, she revealed that when she was young, her brother saw an advertisement for the reality show âScreen Testâ aired on Asianet Plus and told their mother about it. Her mother advised her to take part in the show. She was selected in the top ten and won the title of the most popular actress.

She started receiving many small roles after that.
She appeared various in Malayalam films including Annarakkannanum Thannalayathu (2010) as Pavithranâs prospective bride, Little Superman (2014) as Denyâs sister, Vishwasam⌠Athallae Ellaam (2015) as Salomi (Sali), Pareeth Pandari (2017) as Fazeela Pareeth, and CBI 5: The Brain as CBI Officer Anitha.

She appeared in several Tamil films including Aaravadhu Vanam (2010) as Anu, Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA (2013) as Thaayi, Paranjothi (2015) as Ganga, and Paakanum Pola Irukku (2017) as Maheswari.

In 2014, she faced cyberbullying for wearing a bikini on screen. In an interview, she clarified that it was a photoshopped image and that she never wore a bikini.
In an interview, she revealed that after appearing in the film Drishyam, she thought she would get lead roles but still received small roles. So, she left acting and continued her graduation which she had left midway for the shooting of the film Drishyam.
In 2015, she posted a picture on Facebook where she was seen posing with Buddhist kids at a monastery for which she received a lot of criticism. Her fans did not like her visit to the monastery because she followed Islam. She removed the image from her Facebook account later.

While she was in college, she started writing screenplays and stories.
In 2018, she wrote and directed the Malayalam short film âA Live Story.â In an interview, she said she was hosting the show âComedy Super Niteâ on Flowers TV when she decided to direct the short film for her college project. The cast of the show advised her to shoot the film professionally and not on her mobile phone.

In an interview, she shared her love for films and said,
Since a young age, I used to watch movies irrespective of language. Regional language films interested me the most and I just enjoyed watching it especially the âmass-masalaâ ones. After watching movies, I used to narrate the story to my friends, who later out of curiosity, went ahead and watched them.â
In 2018, she took to social media to share that a man named Ajeesh asked her for her nude pictures offering to pay her in return. Sharing on social media, she said that the man commented âSend me your nude picture and I will pay you.â on one of the videos posted by her earlier.
In 2021, she made a comeback after four years with the film âDrishyam 2.â
