Annie Khalid is a Pakistan-born an English-Pakistani musician and model. She was born to a Kashmiri father and a Yemeni mother.
She started her musical career in late 2005.
One of her friends made her meet to a music arranger who helped her compose the simple & catchy song “Mahiya”.
The video of “Mahiya” song was first released in Pakistan and then the Bollywood film producer Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt expressed their desire to use the song Mahiya, for their movie Awarapan which gained her more fame and fan following_._
In 2010, she released her UK debut single “Be My Baby” along with the remix of the track done by the UK’s Top DJ Judge Jules.
The same year, she walked L’Oréal Karachi fashion week for BNS couture & in 2011 for Ammar Belal**.**
In 2011, she signed a contract with Lebara, a telecommunication company in Norway, for their certain campaign. Besides newspapers and billboards, she can be seen on every bus, tube, train and their stations in Norway.
She married Malik Noureed Awan in 2012 in Lahore but the marriage didn’t last and she got divorced. Later she married Saad Ahmed Khan and they have a daughter together.
