Ankit Gupta is an Indian actor who is known for his role as Fateh Singh Virk in the Hindi television show Udaariyaan (2021).
After finishing his studies at Meerut, he started taking tuition to earn money. Later, he worked in call centres for some time and then, he decided to do modelling and came to Delhi. After modelling in Delhi, he went to Mumbai and became an actor. His parents were not very supportive when he decided to become a model, but because he was doing a job at that time, they agreed to it.
He appeared in television shows Begusarai (2016), Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi (2017), Mayavi Maling (2018), Kundali Bhagya (2020), and Bigg Boss 16 (2022).

In an interview, he revealed that in 2012, when he shot for the show âBalika Vadhu,â his director used to treat him badly. In the interview, he further said,
My director would never take my shot, only the assistants would take shots. They would call me early in the morning and make me sit for the entire day and probably in the evening I would shoot a scene. My director would always be irritated with me and I understand it now. But at that time I could not understand why they were behaving like that with me.â

In 2021, he played the lead role in the serial âUdaariyaan.â He rejected the show three times before accepting it in 2021. In an interview, he talked about this and said,
Funny story I had said no for the show thrice before agreeing. But I believe it was destined to happen. So my friends actually convinced me to do the show. Adding the charm of one hero with two heroines, who would deny such an opportunity? So I finally agreed to do the show.â

In an interview, he said that he works for 14-16 hours a day and wished to get a Sunday off. In the interview, he further said,
Sunday should be fixed offs (laughs). In India, nobody wants to work on Sundays, no matter what you do or where you are, Sunday is a different feeling. Second one would probably be less working hours. Normal shift is for 12 hours, but we end up shooting for 14-15 hours, but if I can, I would probably bring it down to 8 hours.â

When Iâm not working, I like to catch up on my sleep which at times is really elusive with all the work. I can sleep for hours on end. I think my personal best is a continuous stretch of 38 hrs of sleep at one go!! Apart from the sleeping, I love to surf and hang out with friends in my free time.â
