Some Lesser Known Facts About Anjali Raghav
Anjali Raghav is an Indian actress and model, who mainly appears in Haryanvi music videos. In 2020, she gained immense popularity for appearing in the Haryanvi music video âMotoâ by Diler Kharkiya .
During her school days, Anjali used to go along with her sisters to the shooting locations of various acting projects, and there she was spotted by the Haryanvi singer Gajender Phogat, who gave her a chance to act in one of his Haryanvi songs âGire Ye Aansuâ (2014).

In an interview, Anjali said she had taken admission to a hostel in Sirsa, where she studied from 5th to 10th standard, and thereafter, she returned to her hometown for further studies.
Initially, Anjali wanted to become a teacher, but later, she changed her mind and started her career in the Haryanvi entertainment industry.
She has appeared as a model in more than 50 Haryanvi video songs. Some of the popular Haryanvi songs in which she has featured include âEk Chhoraâ (2011; by Vijay Sharma, Mamta Swami, D C Madana, Swati), âChutki Bajana Chhod Deâ (2015; by Deepak Mor, Rekha Garg), âSandalâ (2016; by Raju Punjabi), âBahu Milgiâ (2018; by Krishan Sanwra, Vishakha Chauhan), and âHookaâ (2023; by Ruchika Jangid).

She received the title âPrincess of Sonipatâ in 2013.
In 2015, Anjali, along with her sister Shivani Raghav, was featured in the Haryanvi song âDil Dena Hai To De De Fuddu Na Banaâ by Jaji King and Sushila Takhar.

In one of her interviews, she shared that she rejected the offers of the Hindi TV serials âKundali Bhagyaâ and âBadho Bahuâ for completing her studies. However, in 2022, she accepted the offer of the Hindi TV serial âSwaran Ghar,â which aired on Colors TV.
Anjali used to portray goddess Sita in Ramleela organised at her village even after getting recognition in the Haryanvi entertainment industry.
In 2025, at a promotional event in Lucknow, Anjali was seen uncomfortable when actor Pawan Singh repeatedly touched her waist, claiming something was stuck there. After confirming nothing was there, she condemned it as non-consensual and announced she was leaving the Bhojpuri industry.
After Anjaliâs statement about leaving the Bhojpuri industry, Pawan Singh responded on Instagram, saying he had no wrong intentions and apologised if his actions hurt her. He added that such gestures were not meant to disrespect, but he still seeks forgiveness.
She is an avid animal lover and owns a pet dog named Annie.
