Anjali Anand is an Indian actress who gained popularity for her role as Lovely in the television show Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala (2018).
Her father, Dinesh Anand was a popular actor who died on 15 February 2001 in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
According to her, her mother was a choreographer in Saroj Khan ’s team.
In 2017, in her debut show Dhhai Kilo Prem, she was requested to gain more weight, even though she was already 108 kilograms. She did not agree with this and talking about it in an interview, she said,
I have lived a very active life all this while. Being someone who loves to trek and cycle to maintain a steady weight, gaining too much weight is a big no-no. I am at 108 kg for the role and any more change might get difficult to reverse.”
She was part of two TV shows “Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala” (2018) on Star Plus and “Dil Bekaraar” (2021) on Disney+ Hotstar.

In an interview, she said that the TV industry preferred slim and fit heroines, but she didn’t want to lose weight because she liked herself just the way she was. In the interview, she further added,
If I ever have to lose any weight, I’ll only go against what I have been saying for years; I am very comfortable in my own skin. I get messages from people who consider me their inspiration. I don’t want to disappoint them by going against what I have been striving to inculcate through my work and interaction with the audience. Even if I can inspire and make a difference to those few people, my work is done.”
She was body shamed by many people on social media. In an interview, she talked about this and said,
I laugh after reading the comments. I don’t pay attention to trolls. Although, earlier I used to hate their words, now I don’t.” Comments like, “Weight to Kam Karo madam”, “Ye khatron ke khiladi mein jaake kya karegi” are common on her posts. I keep reading such comments and laugh it off. I have taken many solo adventurous trips, but at the same time, I feel I am not answerable to anyone when I am already a part of the show.”
She frequently appears as a plus-size model in different magazines.
