  • AndreĂ­na MartĂ­nez is a Dominican-born American model and beauty queen who represented the Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 2022 and won the title of 2nd runner-up.

  • AndreĂ­na was born in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic; however, she migrated to the United States of America around the age of 13. In the beginning, she didn’t know how to speak English but eventually, she became fluent.

  • After winning the title of Miss Republica Dominicana 2021, AndreĂ­na MartĂ­nez was supposed to compete at Miss Universe 2021; however, she had to withdraw her name as she tested positive for COVID-19. She was then replaced by Miss Republica Dominicana’s 2021 first runner-up, Debbie Aflalo, who represented the Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 2021 in Eilat, Israel, on 13 December 2021. AndreĂ­na was later designated as Miss Dominican Republic 2022 and was said to compete in the 2022 edition.

  • On 15 January 2023, MartĂ­nez represented the Dominican Republic at Miss Universe 2022 competing against 83 other candidates and was crowned second runner-up to R’Bonney Gabriel (USA).
