Controversies • In 2004, she was accused to shoot a pornographic film that was aired on TV channel. She, along with her mother and three brothers was arrested by the police as such type of films are illegal to broadcast in India. After forensic research, it was cleared that she was not in the film and the court had acquitted all the allegations made by the police on her. Later, after 3 years, the film 'Miss Anara' was made on this whole controversy.
• In 2017, a complaint was registered against her and three others to lure people for putting their money in their production house, Emperor Media and Entertainment Private Limited who already gathered the amount of Rs. 200 crore. In one of her interviews, she told that she is only the brand ambassador of this company and had resigned from this company as a director four months before that incident.
