Ananya started her career as child artist in 1995 with the Malayalam film Pai Brothers.
During her childhood, she was an archer and won the State Championship.
She was spotted by some directors while she represented her college in a popular television reality show Star Wars and after that, she received various acting offers.
Initially, she rejected five projects and then accepted to act in the Malayalam film Positive (2008) as Jyothi.
She worked in different languages such as Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
