He did his initial schooling from Delhi and was later enrolled in The Doon School, Dehradun (Boarding School), as his parents wanted him to do good in both sports and academics.
He was a Junior Head Boy in his school in Delhi and a Head Boy inĀ The Doon School, Dehradoon.
During his years in The Doon School, Anant actively took part inĀ sports like Field Hockey, Tennis, and Athletics.
While in school, he wantedĀ to become a Tennis player.

After completing his Digital Communication course, Tyagi worked as aĀ Business Analyst at Centrica, a gas company in London.
Once, one of Anantās friends called him for lunch and asked him to auditionĀ for a Hindi commentator at ESPN-Star. On his friendās advice, Tyagi gave the audition and was selected forĀ a commentary stint for the English Premier League.
