Anam Tanveer never wanted to enter the entertainment industry and she used to work in an advertisement agency before entering into showbiz. She used to write for various newspapers, magazines, and online forums such as Dawn, Pakistan State Times, Business Recorder, and The News Tribe.
In 2011, Anam Tanveer hosted the Pakistani TV show titled ‘Dum Dum Dee Dee.’
In 2012, Anam Tanveer was elected as the House woman speaker for her contribution to the national youth parliament.
