In 2007, while she was working in the Kannada film Cheluvina Chittara, her co-actors introduced her to Jagadish, son of a politician and former corporator GH Ramachandra. Initially, they became good friends, and later, fell in love with each other. After dating for a few years, the couple got married.
As an actress, she has appeared in many Kannada films including ‘Naanu Nanna Kanasu’ (2010), ‘Gajakesari’ (2014), ‘Ramleela’ (2015), ‘Maasthi Gudi’ (2017), and ‘Mugulu Nage’ (2017).
