Some Lesser Known Facts About Amrita Dixit
Amrita Dixit grew up in a middle-class family.
In childhood, she developed an interest in singing. While she was studying in school and college, she participated in various singing competitions.
She was fond of anchoring since her school days. She dreamt of becoming a TV host for famous TV channels.
As an anchor, she has worked for five years on the Doordarshan channel. After this, she also worked on the ETV news channel.
She has worked as a live reporter on Biharās PTN news channel for three years.
Once she hosted a singing show at Saraswati Studio, and she got a chance to do chorus there. After this, the studioās owner and music director Pappu asked her to work as a singer professionally.
After marriage, she decided to quit her job as an anchor and make a career in singing.
She sang the Hindi song āSajan Bin Chand Adhura Haiā on Karva Chauth which became very popular.
