Some Lesser Known Facts About Amrapali Kata
After receiving her MBA from IIM, she joined a Business bank, âABN AMRO.â
She secured 39th rank in her UPSC exam in 2010. She was also one of the youngest candidates to crack the exam.
Her brother-in-law is also an IAS officer.
Kata has also been a private secretary to the Union Minister of State for Home, G. Kishan Reddy.
For years, she has constantly been working against inadequate sanitation, poor hygiene, unsafe water, etc. To spread awareness, she also distributed the books titled âEconomics of Sanitation.â
