After graduation, Amit Sharma was preparing for competitive exams but was also interested in gaming. He tried playing Free Fire but struggled to understand it at first.
He learned by watching other YouTubers, and with time, he became skilled at playing survivor games.
Amit Sharma started his Desi Gamers YouTube channel on 11 May 2015 as a hobby and a way to make some extra money. It became his passion in 2016, and since then, he has become one of the most popular gaming content creators.
He is well-known for creating funny series featuring Indian political characters. He often mimics famous leaders like Rahul Gandhi , Narendra Modi , and Arvind Kejriwal in his videos.
Initially, Amit Sharma posted animated videos with his own dubbed voiceovers. These videos went viral, but due to copyright issues, he had to stop making them.
On 3 October 2018, he posted his first Free Fire video. One of his videos, ‘Only MP40 Challenge! Free Fire Hindi,’ posted on 19 November 2018, received over 500k views, which increased his popularity.
