Alicia Hannah-Kim is a Korean-Australian actress.
She was born to first-generation Korean immigrants in Australia. Alicia was born and grew up in Sydney.

In an interview, Alicia mentioned that as a child, she was shy and introverted, but her love for acting pushed her to join acting classes at the Australian Theatre for Young People.
In 2003, at 16, she made her television debut with the serial White Collar Blue.
To enhance her acting skills and for better opportunities, she moved to the United States at the age of 20.
Hannah-Kim made her U.S. television debut with a recurring role as Shin in the TV series Crash (2008-2009).
She gained further recognition with guest appearances on various popular shows, including Grey’s Anatomy (2009) and Two and a Half Men (2010).
Some of Alicia’s other popular shows are Hot in Cleveland (2011), Chasing Life (2014), Hawaii Five-0 (2015), and General Hospital (2014).
Her breakout role was as the Sensei Kim Da-Eun in Netflix’s “Cobra Kai” (Seasons 5 and 6, 2022-2025). It also made her the first female sensei in the Karate Kid universe. She received praise for her performance.
Alicia Hannah trained in Muay Thai, which helped her in performing fight scenes on her own in Cobra Kai.
