Ali Abbas is a Pakistani actor who is known for his work in the Pakistani television industry. He is the son of popular Pakistani actor, director, and screenwriter, Waseem Abbas.
He started his career in the Pakistani television industry as a producer for the TV channel Style 360. check sources The News International However, he later became a program manager.
In 2013, he debuted as an actor in a play in which he had a small role.
He played the role of Irfaan in the television drama series âLadoon Mein Palliâ (2014), which aired on Geo Entertainment. His father, Waseem Abbas, directed the series.

His performance as Zarbab Khan in the TV series âTum Kon Piyaâ (2016) received immense appreciation from the audience. The show was broadcast on Urdu 1.

Prior to pursuing a career in the television industry, Ali Abbas worked in a law office for almost a year.
In an interview, he said that his father wanted him to pass the Central Superior Service (CSS) exam, instead of becoming an actor. He further added that didnât get any help from his parents, who were well-established actors, while he was trying to establish himself in the Pakistani entertainment industry. While talking about it in the interview, he said,
For me, it was a curse since my father had categorically told me not to expect any kind of support from him and he stayed true to his wordâŚNo recommendations; no marketing gimmicks.â
In an interview, Ali Abbas revealed that to become an actor he had to lose almost 10kg of his body weight.
