At 16, he took training in Bharatanatyam under Usha Datar. After that, he learned contemporary dance from Madhu Nataraj in Natya STEM Dance Kampni. After that, he learned Kathak from Dr. Maya Rao.
In 2004, he was part of a play adapted from Badal Sarkar’s Evam Indrajit directed by Pawan Kumar.
