Some Lesser Known Facts About Akash KhuranaÂ
Before entering the entertainment industry, he worked for the Tata Motors for eight years, and then, he moved to the hospitality industry where he worked as a management consultant.
Akash is a co-founder of Nimbus Communications (a leading sports, media, and entertainment company) where he became an HR Advisor, Chief Creative Officer, CEO and MD, and Chairman.
Initially, he did a lot of theatres with renowned theatre personalities- Satyadev Dubey, Sunil Shanbag, and Naseeruddin Shah . He has also been associated with over 30 theatre plays.
Akash started his career as a film actor in 1981.
He has worked in more than 60 Hindi films like  âArdhy Satyaâ, âSaaranshâ, âKabzaaâ, âJurmâ, âSaudagarâ, âDiljaleâ, âJaanâ, âBarfi!â, etc.
Akash also worked in Hindi TV serials as an actor and director. Some of his popular TV serials are âSara Jahan Hamaraâ, âGuftagooâ, âRishteyâ, âKuch Ret Kuch Pani â, etc.
He has also written 20+ screenplays including âAashiqui and Baazigarâ, âAakroshâ, âKartoosâ, âYeh Aashiqui Meriâ, âBetaabiâ, âItihaasâ, etc.
Akash has conducted several workshops on acting, screenwriting, and filmmaking.
Akash was a spokesperson for the media and entertainment industry on the national forums FICCI and CII and has been a Rotarian at the Rotary Club of Bombay North Island.
