His first movie in a lead role was in the Malayalam film industry alongside actress Vimala Raman . He went on to receive several offers from the Tamil and Telugu film industries.
After the success of the film Ko (2011), he took a break from his acting career to pursue his specialization studies in orthopaedics in London.
