Aishwarya R. Dhanush is the daughter of veteran actor Rajinikanth.
She started her career as an assistant to director Selvaraghavan.
She directed & wrote the story of 2 Tamil films 3 (2012) and Vai Raja Vai (2015).
She judged the STAR Vijay TV’s dance reality show Jodi Number One Season 3.
Apart from being a director, she is also a great playback singer and sung several songs such as Natpe Natpe for the film Whistle (2003) and Un Mela Aasadhan for the film Aayirathil Oruvan (2010).
She is the goodwill ambassador for the UN Women organization.
She is a trained classical dancer and was awarded by the Kalaimamani from the government of Tamil Nadu.
In 2012, she won the Newsmaker of the Year Award at the JFA Women Achievers Awards.
