She is named after her great uncle ‘Ainsley’ who owned the Ainsley Hall in Columbia, South Carolina.
Her first job was in a Hallmark store in Spring Valley, Nevada which her friend’s mother owned.
She wanted to be an actress during her childhood and would often participate in theatrical plays.
After getting discouraged from following her passion for theatre, she decided to become an orthodontist on the advice of her part-time employer and an orthodontist, Richard Boyd.
She switched to journalism after struggling with Chemistry and watching TV host, Leeza Gibbons, discuss her journey to starting a career in television.
She started her career by working as a reporter for the television station, WLTX in Columbia, South Carolina.
She has worked as an anchor for KENS-TV (CBS) in San Antonio, Texas.
