Abhinay Kinger grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
He is an Indian actor who predominantly appeared in Tamil and Malayalam films.
Abhinay Kinger’s mother, TP Radhamani, was also a renowned actress who worked with many prominent figures in the Tamil and Malayalam film industries.

Abhinay made his acting debut in 2002 alongside Dhanush and Sherin Shringar in a Tamil film, Thulluvadho Ilamai.
That same year, he made his Malayalam cinema debut with a small role in the film Kaiyethum Doorath.
The film’s success encouraged Abhinay to pursue more lead roles. He notably appeared in the lead roles in several films, including Junction (2002), Singara Chennai (2004), and Pon Megalai (2005).
In the late 2000s, he started getting supporting roles and notably appeared in some big films such as Thodakkam (2008), Solla Solla Inikkum (2009), and Kathai (2010).
Kinger has also worked as a dubbing artist, providing the voice for Vidyut Jamwal in Thuppakki (2012) and Anjaan (2014).
Apart from acting in films, Abhinay has also been a familiar face in several popular advertisements.
Abhinay Kinger was last seen in director Srinath’s action comedy Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham (2014).

In July 2025, after knowing about Abhinay’s ill health and financial struggles, Abhinay received financial assistance from television presenter Balan Aakash, popularly known as KPY Bala or Vettukili Bala. He offered him support of Rs 1 lakh. A video of Abhinay hugging KPY Bala in appreciation for his generous gesture went viral on social media.
