Aarti was born into a middle-class Marathi family.
She was fascinated towards acting since her childhood, and had this inborn sense of humour.
She started her career as a theatre artist and did theatre for around 10 years that nurtured her into a prolific actress.
She became a household name with her series of comedy acts in Zee Marathi’s comedy reality show ‘Fu Bai Fu’ (2010), where she performed alongside Digambar Naik.
In 2011, she participated in Zee Marathi’s dance reality show ‘Eka Peksha Ek Apsara Aali,’ and during the course, she lost around 3-4 kg of weight.
In April 2018, she participated in the first season of ‘Bigg Boss Marathi .’
Aarti and her fellow ‘Bigg Boss Marathi’ contestant Bhushan Kadu knew each other before they entered the Bigg Boss house, as they have done a lot of films and shows together.
She is an avid animal lover.
