While growing up, she used to watch the Indian actress Madhuri Dixit ’s films and from there she started developing an interest in acting.
By the age of 6, she had decided that she would become an actress. She used to shoot her dance videos.
She once shared that as she was from a conservative Muslim family it was difficult for her to convince her family to allow her to make her career in acting.
While she was in her second year of college, she started receiving modelling offers for brands like Close-Up Toothpaste, Beetel Mobile phones, and Emami Cosmetic Cream.
After completing her graduation, she worked in a boutique as a fashion designer for a few months.
Aamna once shared that since her childhood she suffered from Acrophobia, a fear of heights.
